It should be so easy. Apparently something in this one project is preventing ALL my plugins from working. They're all silent. I have no idea what that's about. Made a new project and they work now.

Hitting the E key will globally bypass all effects. I had situations where the graphic indicator light does not stay synced to the bypass key switch. Caught me un-aware a time or two.

I wanted to add that,  though I use S-gear and a few other guitar sims almost exclusively, Craigs CA-X  effects chains are really clever and opened up the programming potential of the Sonitus effects that I hadn't appreciated before. Pretty eye opening sort of clever.  Thanks Craig.
 

Thanks Rbh, that seemed to be the issue. Never use this feature so I had no idea. Hit a key w/o knowing it and your whole day is ruined.

The solution is to go into TH3 and click on the Auto tab. Then check the box "Use old set of automated parameters."
 

 
Re-start CbB, and the FX Chains have the correct assignment once more.
