The VB3 FX version is 32bit only.

If I had to have just one it would be VB3 for sure.

For a standalone Leslie effect checkout Melda's MVintageRotary.

When I had to leave B4 II since 32-bit only I got www.Xils-Lab.com and  LX122 Premium.
Had some organic qualities to it that I liked - and position mikes in room to create the position you feel work.

But since Hammond XK3c I don't use that anymore. Went from B4 and B4II to Korg CX-3 v2 and then Hammond XK1 and now XK3c. I feel digital Hammonds rule over anything else digital.

I use Waves S1 to create just wide enough leslie to work in a mix, not occupying entire stereo width. That's the general problem with leslie sims I think. If you want it between 1200-1400 hours or so - S1 fix that.

Depending on which version of Producer, you may have DPro and Rapture. Both have quite a few organ programs you may like. DPro expansion pack 1 includes a virtual B3. The programs are located in Expansion Pack 1 > Organs > Virtual B3. Here is a image detailing the features available in the virtual B3 programs

Thanks for this stuff Steve!

Though i find the NI B4 preferable, i have used the D-Pro vb3 many times.

I never thought to look for these controls this way!

Always more to learn!

I never really had a big issue with VB3 and I'm pretty sure you can use it as Leslie on any audio track. I would honestly expect that to go for most organ plugins. I'm not opposed to separate Leslie plugs per se, I actually have a Ventilator 1 and a Ventilator 2, I'm just suprised to hear people feel the Leslie in VB3 isn't good or don't know you can use it as an FX processor.

I haven't tried using leslie only, but after decades of real hammonds/leslies i find the vb3 extraordinay.

Im curios to try the blue3 but i distinctly remember the b3's i used never had a particulaly bright sound. The perc could be a bit of a high end sting at times but the tonewheel sound tends to be soft at the upper mids and a bit loose (squishy?) at the bottom

I think both PSP and Melda's leslie VST sound better than the VENTILATORs. More realistic anyway.... do yourself a favor and DEMO them.
