Soundcloud upload fails

I have been trying to upload directly from Sonar to Soundcloud without success. Login details are correct, internet is fine and I have tried with all virus software disabled. Any other ideas?

Try exporting to a wav first, then upload the wav

Bristol_Jonesey gave you the correct solution. I just did my first Soundcloud upload last week and it worked, after exporting to a SoundCloud approved format (I used FLAC). There's actually a pretty good help file for the process. In Sonar, if you open Utilities > Share with SoundCloud then click the ? that's in the upper right corner of the Soundcloud dialog the help file opens. There's a link at the bottom for "Uploading Audio to SoundCloud" that lays it out for you step by step.

I read yesterday that Soundcloud might be a day to day company. They are telling everyone to back up you stuff as they may go dark at anytime without more money.

Edit: Just now read that Rane put up some money, so things have calmed down.

Actually, good news arrived for SoundCloud Friday. Cash infusion and 2 top executives from Vimeo coming on board. Sounds like as good a deal as they could hope for.
