I have Splat on my studio setup and here at home. Same installation (most recent July update) and windows 10 current on both machines. I created a project with an instance of Rapture at the studio and the home setup says I am missing Rapture (do have Rapture Session) I reinstalled Rapture and rebooted but still no luck. Rapture is not showing up as a synth option here at home, just Rapture Session. No interface here as I don't record here so no inputs to speak of. Realtek soundcard seems to work fine for playback. When I reinstall Rapture I get no options so I'm assuming it is in the proper path.
Any ideas welcome. Maybe because I have no midi input?? Not logical though, right?

Have you re-scanned your VST folder(s)?

Rescanning doesnt help. When it can't find Rapture it says " missing Rapture(synth rack)" - don't know if the synth rack tag on is a clue...

The only other thing I can think of is to double-check that assumption, and to make sure you scan the correct folder.

Well I found the Rapture folder manually and copied it to where all the other ones were and now it finds it! They were all in programfiles/vst plugins while Rapture had been put in program files/CAKEWALK CONTENT/vst plugins .Now to figure out why the track is inaudible...

Well still no audio from the Rapture track instanced at the studio but if I add Rapture here it works. No big deal really. Just wanted to listen to a work in progress at home. Think I'll head up to the studio...

Do you see an audio waveform on the Rapture audio track?
