I have a TTS-1 track in my project for which I'd like to adjust the sound via the dials in the Mixer settings.

Once I go into the TTS-1 mixer (double-click the track icon), then I click the little square button above the mixer column in question -- I change some of the dials there to my liking (RESO, TONE, CHARACTER, BASS, etc.), then I X out. I play the song (I don't hear the changes?). When I go back into those TTS-1 Mixer settings, it seems as though the dials have reset.

Why aren't those changes being saved to my track? What am I doing wrong?
I would like to be able to change those dials and have them SAVED like I can on a SoundCenter track.

Thanks in advance...

those settings are not persistent once you close TTS-1.  it's a bug which has been around for a long time, but they have no intentions of fixing it because it's outdated.

if you change the settings and play immediately, it should work at that time, but once you close TTS-1 it doesn't save the settings.  so to keep it on the track, you'll need to make the changes to those settings, then bounce the track to audio so that those changes are now permanent on the track.

I momentarily had trouble bouncing a TTS MIDI track. Then I realized that you can only bounce a Simple TTS track, not one that calls to a TTS output track. I also successfully test-bounced a SoundCenter track.

EDIT: I'm able to bounce a TTS track -- per the previous paragraph. But another problem. I'm unable to bounce a TTS track while the TTS settings window is open. The new track just doesn't appear. Except, when I started a new song from scratch with a Simple TTS track, bounced that with the TTS settings window open, it created the new track just fine. What the heck???

What kind of condition is this where I cannot bounce with the TTS window open? Too many instruments/tracks, or...?

Please help. Thanks!

It is possible to bounce TTS-1 (or any synth) regardless of how the tracks are setup. All tracks (audio and MIDI or instrument) for the same synth must be selected and bounced at the same time. If the synth is setup with multiple outputs, the bounce dialog must have the "Source Category" set to Tracks for each track to be bounced to it's own target track.

Thanks, Scook. :) But I'm confused -- I was previously able to bounce a single track from a synth for which I set up a few other tracks...?

As long as the audio+MIDI pair are selected. The only reason I replied was my confusion with

Then I realized that you can only bounce a Simple TTS track, not one that calls to a TTS output track.

It is not clear what was going on. Usually synths are setup as an instrument track or audio+MIDI tracks. If you are trying a mix of instrument tracks with either audio or MIDI tracks for the same synth you may have trouble. Instrument tracks are intended for simple synth setups. Trying to use an instrument track with a synth setup for multi-tembral use is unusual.

There is a 32 audio track limit in MC6T here is a list of limits and other info on MC6T http://www.cakewalk.com/D...mp;Req=Comparison.html

make sure when you're trying to bounce a TTS-1 track or multiple output tracks that you select (hightlight) both the MIDI track and the output track(s) you want to bounce.

note:  if you bounce mulitple tracks at the same time to a single stereo track, all of the output tracks will be bounced into ONE track.
