I downloaded CW last night and choose all of the addons. I saw a ton of instruments being installed. When I opened a new project, I only see one or two virtual instruments. I did install them in a different directory but that directory is listed in the vst plugins list. WHere did everything disappear to?

I'm an old school sonar user, and I just installed CBB this week for the 1st time. I have found the same thing in my installation. SI instruments can only be loaded as FX. 
 
I tried building a custom layout in the Plug In Manager Utility to insert them into the Soft Synth menu, but it didn't work. 

When instruments (like the SI series bundled with CbB) scan as effects, it means something went wrong with the scan. Run a VST reset.
