I have Dimension -Pro synth as a "connected product" (green) though I can't find it. Is it within something else?

Progress: I gave up looking in Sonar. I exited the DAW and noticed D-Pro on my desktop. Why is it not with the other synths inside Sonar?

Because that will be the icon that takes you to the Stand alone version.

There should be a Dimension Pro x64.dll in your C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\VSTPlugins folder unless you've somehow changed the default locations during installation.

Assuming the dll is in the scan path, it is possible the plug-in failed during scanning. To see if this is the case, go to Preferences > File > VST Settings and run a manual scan with "Rescan Failed Plug-ins" enabled. After running the scan make sure to put the scan preferences back the way they were.
