This year, I added Console 1 (which I love) and Universal Audio Apollo Firewire (which I also love).
Now I am convinced I need a 2x2 monitor array
Top L - U Audio console and whatever plugins are being used in unison mode
Top R - the channel strip from Console 1
Bottom L - The track view of SPLAT
Bottom R - The console view/tab thingy of SPLAT

Ooh - what if I need an audio editor open?
That makes 7 monitors.
But I like symmetry.
OK now I need a 3x3 monitor array. I could keep the forum open on one and have cat videos on the 9th one. Or SPLAT manual. Or the UAD plugin manual.
All seriousness aside, how many of you use more than 2 monitors? Does anyone still use just one?
