I confirm only mute buttons etc work, but when the tracks are minimized you can't select a track with the number, only when it is expanded you can select it with the bottom pixel and drag-select more tracks.

also can't really use the upper right hand button on midi clips for enter piano roll view, at least the pointer is wrong but it can be clicked

For me it´s been about the folderbuttons not working, the problem remains.
Doubleclicking them works as a workaround - odd IMO & somewhat annoying - I haven´t tried doubleclicking them before the latest official update (23.06.21), so I don´t know if this is new behaviour.

Just noticed: singleclick a (track folder) button does nothing at first, doubleclicking seems to activate it so if I click again a singleclick works as expected - but only as long as I don´t use another button.
Singleclicking any trackbutton works as expected (so far ....).

Yea, alignment seems fixed in track view but now cant highlight individual track, at track number double clicking selects all tracks, again deselects all tracks, have to go to console view to highlight an individual track.
I guess its back to 2017.04

The pointer issue does indeed still persist. It has changed however.
Where as before, the pointer would change to that double arrow resize cursor and absolutely nothing could be done.
Now, for example @JohnEgan, if you expand the track and try to click the track number to select it, it should work.
IMO though, this is still not ideal so for me it still needs addressing. So it's better, but not 100%.

It does not seem logical that a windows update caused the mouse issue, if we are able to revert back to an earlier sonar release that works perfectly.

This release is more workable, and for me it's enough to keep working, I don't want to get too far behind with the helpful new features.

Id agree as all works as supposed with mouse in 2017.04 rollback for me with Win7 up to date (may be a Win10 issue, or Win7 touch functionality/capability issue, I dont have a touch screen yet).
I might say mouse alignment was workable now, but dont find it too workable not being able to highlight an individual track from track view, to say, bounce to clip, copy, etc, I find it somewhat crippling, albeit I didn't have the time to investigate every possible work around.
Perhaps its time to upgrade to Win10 and a touch screen, lol.
