Ive looked at the documentation to open it but I cant see it under any view" menu. Am I missing something?

Have a better way to take the midi track and convert to staff so I can read it instead of having to pick out each note of the chords?
Hehe How about "Chord Analyzer" in Sonar...that will work.

I still have no Staff View.

It's definitely in the Views menu. You can also bring it up by pressing Alt-6.

Nope, pressing Alt-6 does nothing. Alt+ other stuff works but not the Staff.

I found a workaround with the midi plugin but even that was a bit rough because it gave me 3 different options for each chord. (I had no idea I was so jazzy LOL)

try right clicking on the midi track itself and choose Views > Staff view.

Do you have a lens applied that is hiding it?

You don't see a staff, or you see a staff with no notes?

If you select the track and go to Views | Staff and nothing happens and you don't see a tab at the bottom, it must be undocked and hidden behind something.

Bingo! Thanks to you all for the help. Advanced lens now set to none.
