Hi all. I'm using Music Creator 2, and I am confused as to how to take the music I've composed using the program on the staff sheet and creating a MIDI file that can be shared with other users.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time!

MIDI... I generally bounce it to audio and work with audio and do my exports, but I think you can export the midi track as well.

I know you can copy & paste it..... so it should also export.

Or are you talking about converting it to audio?

I'm wanting to make it so I can use it as music for a game I'm making, or at least allow someone else to listen to it.
I'm really not tuned into which I should do, so forgive my total ignorance on this subject.

Create a folder on your desktop called 'MIDI Files'.
Save the project to that folder as a MIDI Format 0 or MIDI Format 1.

Ah, so easy!

But how do I keep my drums when converting it to a MIDI file?

If it's a MIDI file and the drums are on channel 10, they should play on any General MIDI (GM) synthesizer.

Thank you so much! I got it to work! It only took ten years to figure it out! :)

Hey there. How would I turn it into an MP3?

Get an *.mp3 maker but for a MIDI song, it may have to be audio first, played and recorded back as audio not midi.
Played as midi but then recorded as an audio file and then made into a *.mp3 file after that - exporting the audio.
