I've never had this before in years of using X3. But in one current project I am working on the Mixer Console (which I run on a secondary monitor) loads in a crashed state within the project. So the project loads and runs fine, but I have no access to the mixer console window as it loads on a blank screen and stays locked. It won't close and reopen again.
 
Any thoughts on how to fix it? Running X3e352  on windows 7. It's only this one project it's doing it in - other loads fine.

Hi. Is your graphic card drivers up to date? Does it happen if you drag the Console View (Mixer) onto your primary monitor?
Have you tried to do a "save as"?

Yes all up to date and yes happens on both monitors. It's like the window is crashed within the project - it doesn't let me me close the window with the X mark either. Tried a save as and renaming the project it's still the same. Weird how it only does it with this one project too.

Which plugins, incl 3rd party ones do you use in this project? Are they up to date?
Does it happen if you "freeze" tracks using plugins? 
 
Try holding down Shift while you open the project.
Say no to open 3rd party plugins. (Perhaps one each time you open the project, until the problem goes away.)
Do a "save as", with a new name. 
Open the new project. Does it still happen?
