Just took my studio computer out of (3-month storage while moving) got everything set up and when I went to open/launch Sonar, I got the following message:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
* Runtime error
Program: C:\P...
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I'm using XP
Any ideas on how to remedy this????

PS: My computer IS NOT connected to the internet.

Hi, and welcome to this forum.
You probably just need an update, or an update got corrupted.
Try to search for Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library (XP), and install anything that is related to XP.
Others will know more about this.
All the best.

probably short for C:\ProgramFiles.
Any chance the computer was banged around during this move ?
You shouldn't need to update anything if its windows XP and Sonar 7.
However, I agree with Ken that runtime errors are almost always an update for C++.

It might be time to put this old PC on the curb with a "Free" sign on it.
