2 questions
1、When will we have VCA faders?
2、Will there be track manger snapshot? The present track manager is not as good as that in any other DAW.

IIRC there has been discussion about VCA's in the past, which basically boiled down to the idea they are not needed and because similar can already be achieved by other (not so convenient) means. I have a feeling though that if they were introduced they would be welcomed by those who argued against there usefulness or need, IMHO it's just that SONAR doesn't have them and other DAW's do, so it gets put down out of hand, which of course would have been different had SONAR actually had them, but that's just me.

Grouping faders results in the same behaviour as VCA remote emulation on any other DAW. Group the channels you want to assign to a VCA. If you wish to adjust a grouped fader independently, press the control key before dragging.

You also have the added advantage of being able to adjust the relationship between these faders (absolute, relative or custom) to suit your particular purpose.

Not really less convenient - just different:)

Totally less convenient if you are used to using the feature in other DAWs, as well as not quite the same thing

And automation doesn't sync - if it did, I'd say it's better than most other VCA implementation because of the relationships you can add.

Ah - that is indeed a drawback:(

There is a command in the Control Center to refresh.  If I recall correctly, there is a default value for how often it checks for updates, and if you haven't had that much elapsed time, it won't see the update until you tell it to check now.
