Everytime I record Steven Slate Drums in Sonar Platinum, when Im recording it sounds great, perfect, but when I play it back, it sounds like it has recorded twice, there is two of everything. Almost sounds doubletracked. Sometimes there is a slight phasing thing happening. I cant find the other source?
 
Can anyone please help?
 

It sounds like there is a Sync button engaged.
Im not familiar with Slate drums so I cant tell you where it is but that's the first thing I would check.
Look for "sync to host" and turn it off.
