Hello,
I just deleted the plug-in iZotope_Radius_x64.dll in the VST plug-in list.
Now I can't start Sonar (Professional) anymore.
I get just the error message "Sonar can't be started because of missing iZotope_Radius_x64.dll, reinstall Sonar to solve the problem"
I don't want to reinstall Sonar completely because of one deleted plug-in.
After a long search among *.ini files etc. I couldn't find an editable plug-in-list.
Can somebody help please: does exist an editable plug-in list file, and if any where can I find it?

Thanks

That's not a VST plug in, that's part of Sonars Core program (to stretch audio).
My suggestion is to put it back. get it from the recycling bin.
That was not in Sonars VST plug in files, that file is from Sonars main installation Platinum folder and is needed in order to run Sonar.

Try loading SONAR in Safe Mode.

When it starts to ask about plugins, enable everything apart form iZotope.

Then delete the plugin from your project.

I'm pretty sure Chuck is correct as that's the name of the algorithms used in AudioSnap. Reinstall/repair Sonar and don't delete that file again.

Thanks a lot for your early reply.
I'll try to put back the (final deleted) *.dll file by a recovery program like Recuva.

It is a very good suggestion, but I don't think it will work.
I just downloaded it and that file is half the size as the one needed in Sonars core folder.
Needed: 6.89MB
Download: 3.14MB (after extraction)

you might be able to fool Sonar into thinking that the file is there but the program will be unstable and probably crash every time you use Autosnap or a groove clip is enabled.

If nothing else works, you might as well just reinstall Sonar..

Reinstall SONAR, seriously.  In the Command Center.  Shouldn't take very long at all.

My recommendation:never delete the plug-in iZotope_Radius .. , otherwise a little disaster occurs!
Even if you can download the plug-in from the net and install it in different directories like c:\VSTPlugins,
c:\program files\Cakewalk\VsTPlugins ...etc.
you get the bullish answer at starting Sonar: iZotope ... is missing, reinstall Sonar..!"

I reinstalled Sonar (you have to do it completely, (no options what you want and what you don't want to install...
you can uninstall things later). Who had this "excellent" installing method in his mind???

I did it and now the result is: "iZotope plug-in is missing, reinstall Sonar!!"

Now I'll reinstall a complete backup of c: ...
