I was sending an email to Cake asking if X3 would support V700. Unfortunately, the support page says that Cake no longer supports the system and "Roland" is our support. Hmm...  Is this new or part of the changes?

Ha; if Roland is our support than we have none.

In fact, CW has been referring people with V-x support questions to Roland for about a month now. On the KB site it gives Roland's web addy as a resource.

Back then I thought that it was funny that a Roland company would send it's own customers to it's own other web site for support.

Makes total sense now.

It has been a while since I have posted, but I have been watching and personally I think that It is pretty bad that
Cake did not man up and let us 700 owners know what was going on.   NOT HAPPY and VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Official support for v700 has been via Roland for a couple of years. This isn't new.

I know that...But trying to get Cake to comment on software support for V-Studio 700 is like pulling teeth, but they claim they are, but not in the X3 edition.

It's been way more than a month Grem. Ever since the transition occurred and the cakewalk team went to work at Roland.

I didn't know it was that long! I just picked up a VS 100 about a month or two ago and started looking at the support in case I needed it.

Still I find this thing a great CS and audio device. It's just such a shame they just let them fall to the wayside like this.
