Hello

I'm working on Music Creator 6. I'd like to know how to skip a section in a song (for instance in 10 seconds in the middle of the song), without deleting that part.

The idea is to pause the song for just second or so and then resume all the way. If I delete sections it will affect the tempo structure and I'm still working on the song. I'm not good at maths, but an option might be changing the tempo so that leaving that second will not affect the tempo structure. I don't know if this makes any sense at all...

Welcome to the forum.
I don't think you can do that. But you can edit out the part (split then delete it) and save it under a different name so you'll still have the original song and the edited song.

Greg's correct. There's no way I know of to skip over a part like it's not there.

Save the original, edit the project to remove those parts and slide the second part over and if you use the snap to grid set to measure, the splice will be seamless to the ear. Save the new edit with a different name.... you should be good to go at that point.

But what a nice feature it would be. I'd have regular use for it.

If it is audio, it is better to splice both back together at a zero crossing point in the wave file. If you are ahead of the beat or behind you may want to cut it where the sound is what should be the start of the next wave form ahead of it at a relatively zero crossing point, the same with the second mark to cut out the section not wanted.
Then the rest of it and Snap to Grid is not needed, and you may find that not using that is better, otherwise, clicks and the wave sound probably will not sound right when finished.
