Thanks for clearing that up. I thought it might be my neighbors. They are just Amish on the outside for  cover. Clever huh? They probably keep the saucer in the barn.

"Assignment: Earth" - IMO one of the best OS Star Trek episodes. Can't compare Shatner's acting to Robert Lansing's...and Teri Garr is, well, Teri Garr. I like Lansing's acting, but he never really had a big break-out into true stardom, which is too bad because I think he had it in him. Actually, "Assignment Earth" was supposed to be what they call a "backdoor pilot" for a new series; but it never happened. Notice that at the very end, Kirk in speaking to Seven and  Garr's character Lincoln, says something like "I think we will be seeing more of you.." or something similar, implying the new series.

So most *smart* people think it foolish and arrogant to think we're the only self-reflective life forms in the universe. But, the cosmos is 14 billion years old. What IF we truly are the most advanced evolutionary life forms? What IF we are the first ones? 

We are the center of the universe, everything revolves around us ... including the sun and the moon. 
That's just a simple axiomatic fact :)
 

It's interesting to contemplate.  Most people gravitate towards either evolution or creation.  What if it's both and we're the first.  It's an awesome responsibility.
