I need to give a song to a drummer and I need to record Metronome track and mix it with master mix in Stereo. I am looking at Metronome settings- it allows to set Output but I am not sure how to select Input on the audio track to receive the signal from Metronome. I used to use MIDI and would audio record it from MIDI instrument, but that was not accurate, would fluctuate in Tempo and had latency, so I am hoping to use Audio metronome. Thank you. 

What I do is use a drum program such as Session Drummer. I set the tempo of the project like I need it. Then set up hi-hat hits on the quarter notes. Do an eight bar, ctrl+Drag to a new clip. Then grab them both and repeat. Ctrl+drag all those clips to extend it and keep repeating until I have enough.
 
Then you freeze the trk. Ctrl+drag that frozen audio trk to a new trk, then export this new trk and there you go. I am sure you can see how I am going about this by now. But if you need more help, come back with questions.

I can make it much better on MIDI instrument such as Roland or Yamaha, I was hoping to avoid MIDI. Using HH or any other plates is not good idea, it makes drummer using those less because he hears them already being recorded. Thank you again.

This. I think you can also use the Synth Recording feature to record the metronome bus output.

Assuming a metronome bus like the basic.cwt shipped with CbB

• Create a new audio track, set the input to a new patch point and record enable
• Set the metronome bus output to the patch point
• Make sure metronome playback is enabled on record
• Start recording

 

How do I assign it to the track? It gives me output options not input! 

This is done in the track view with track/bus I/O settings NOT the metronome preference dialog. Use a metronome bus and set its output to the patch point defined as the audio track's input.

I have a few 4 measure groove clips recorded at different resolutions which I can drop into a project as desired.  I just need to bounce to length or just drag into the Matrix View for continuous playback.  Like Michael, I recorded SD for a basic beat or use the raw MIDI and move a pattern of notes to a desired percussive sound.  Pretty convenient ounce you have a choice of clips to pull from.

You do know you can substitute the sound of the hi-hat for something else right?
 
I used SD as an example. I am sure you have other synths with other sounds. My point was (that I thought you would see) was that once you do this, you won't have to record a midi trk again! Just open this project, set the tempo, freeze, drag audio to browser, done.
