THANKS JONAS

These Template are almost 5 years old now so may I suggest taking caution using older templates unless of course you are using an older version of Sonar.
Hope that helps.

Unfortunately the template has not been updated.  I'm stuck on Sonar 8.53 and I also do a fair amount of work using Reaper these days.  X2's reverbs and compressors are better that what was included in Sonar, so it shouldn't be too terribly difficult to get equivalent or even better sounds using X2.  I wonder if some of the crazy routings import correctly into X2.

I just don't care for the X interface and a new set of bugs to go with it.  I'd be very content if they just fixed the issues in 8.53, but I guess no one will ever make everyone happy.

Glad that you got some use out of it.

how to use the pink noise?

The use of pink noise was an idea stolen from Craig Anderton: http://valy.1ka.eu/DIY/so...0on%20the%20Noise!.htm

Although I still use that technique I use the LUFS plugin to get all the mix elements to "unity" very quickly and then make adjustments from there: https://www.klangfreund.com/lufsmeter/

Cheers,
Jonas

I remember the day you introduced that Mixing Template to the Sonar Group back in 2006.   I was happy because I didn't have to create my own anymore for a while, and yours was way better than mine.

I still have that project file saved in an old Sonar Extras folder on an external Hard Drive.
