Did anyone know if I can use the VS-100 only as a control surface while using other audio interface?

It is easier to ask than to try since I found nothing related to it in a brief search.

yeah, just make sure it's not used as an audio interface, only as control surface....

That's what I am thinking. You just do a full install and on the Control Surface instructions (you do have them don't you?) you will see how to select the VS100 as a control surface.
 
In the audio driver section, just choose whichever drivers you want to use. Even if you don't choose the VS100 here as the audio driver, it will still act as a control surface.
