Ok, so I got this random hair up my butt, and decided I wanted to try to make my own dubstep and stuff.  Downloaded this software (Music Creator 6 Touch with Z3ta+2) from Steam.  How the heck do I do this?  I have no experience in audio production, and while I'm a bit of a computer nerd, all these terms are Greek to me.
All I want to do is make music for my Machinimas.  I don't have the "Generate Dubstep" option, and besides, I want to make original work.  Is there anywhere I can find a tutorial that breaks it down barney-style?
I just spent a boatload of money on this software, and I don't want it to go to waste 'cause I can't figure out how to use it.
All the tutorials I've found are great and all, but they don't really explain what's going on, just what button to click to get a specific result.

Please help!

What is the actual treshold question? Is there something specific in the tutorials/help files/manual that you don't understand? We can't just randomly start copy pasting the help files here. As you surely understand, answering the question:"How do i do it?" it's hard to know where to start :o). It's unclear to me whether it's the technical part or music making part that puzzles you more. Can you already record MIDI and audio and use soft synths?

I found a lot of useful info and guides at www.tweakheadz.com when I started to re-learn the tricks nearly ten years ago. If even the terminology is strange to you, there's no other way, IMO, than to start doing homework - googling, reading help files and tweakheadz-guides. There's a learning curve, for sure, but it's worth it to be patient.

Welcome to the forum.
Kalle's right; we can't tell you what you need to know if we don't know what you need to know other than "everything".
Are you a musician?
Have you managed to get the program to make noise and/or record?
What's 'dubstep'?
There are tutorials that come with the program and a glossary of terms, plus a Search option in the help files.

Welcome to the forum and to MC6.

This software is not a magic wand. You can't simply "push a button" and have it create something for you out of thin air. It is, simply, recording software which will allow you to record both midi based synths and audio into the tracks, where, you will be able to edit them in many varied ways.  The assumption here is that you are either a musician who can play one or more instruments and record that into MC6 or you have access to either musicians who can do that for you or you have audio and midi loops that can be dragged/imported and edited to complete a song project.

There are programs that will create music for you in one manner or another however, dub-step is NOT among the genres it currently can create....and it's very, very pricey stuff, as you can imagine.

It takes time to learn this program, so if you have a specific question, please do ask it, one thing at a time.

The first question I would ask you is are you able to get any sound out of MC6 right now? Getting sound is the first step. It has to be properly set up or nothing else matters.
