I NEVER store my Cakewalk projects and settings on my C: drive. I always keep it on a separate data drive, so when I upgrade to a new computer, I can either transplant the data drive into the new PC or temporarily hook up a new drive and copy data from the old drive to the new one.

How much time it will take (20G) for usb transfer?

Depends on the exact hardware involved but shouldn't be much more than 10 minutes.
