If you are familiar with regedit, the recent plug-ins are stored in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk\Core\Recently Used Plug-ins
While I have not been able to reproduce the problem, it may be a corrupted entry in this area.
Thanks for your help scook.
I'm just looking there now and although they are stored as CLsids rather than names I notice that each of them has an index value. Each item in order in the registry has index values 2, 1, 3, 4 and 0.
I'm just checking to see if the CLSids match the ones in the list and note that Sonitus Compressor does match.
The VSTs don't seem to have a CLSid when I look at the Plugin Manager but have a VST ID instead which is a different format.
The plugins currently in the list in CbB and working apart from Sonitus Compressor:
Position 1 - Subspace (CLSid = TBD)
Position 2 - IMPusher (CLSid = TBD)
Position 3 - Crystalizer (CLSid = TBD)
Position 4 - Amplitube 4 (CLSid = TBD)
Position 5 - Sonitus Compressor (CLSid = C54E2D60-F9CA-11D2-8C30-00805FE9FC03)
One thing that does occur is that Sonitus is the only DX plugin on this list although Little Microshift is also not working on the shortcut list and I doubt that is DX.
