Right in the middle of cutting a vocal track, the computer crashed.
When I rebooted, the first thing I see is that Gobbler wants me to log in.
All I can guess, and it's just a guess, is that Gobbler tried to access the internet in the middle of recording, with no prompting from me, and crashed the computer.
Why would that cause the waveforms of the track I was working on, as well as a half dozen similar tracks
which had already been saved to disk to lose visual waveforms and turn into straight pencil lines?
How can I get the waveforms back?
How can I make sure this NEVER happens again?
