I want to use the following vocal sample in a track. I can't remember exactly where it was from but it was part of the free Cakewalk content so I'm presuming cool to use.

As you can hear it's been spliced together pretty badly. Any suggestions on what I could do to smooth out those glitches? Either in Sonar or Adobe Audition. 

snip it as fade the bad part?

That's what I thought about doing too. However before I tried that I thought I'd see what Audition's auto-heal function would do so I put the offending parts through multiple passes of that. It's certainly not perfect by any means but it's certainly less "clicky." I'm going to be using the sample with lots of effects anyway, so I think I might just get away with this:

Cymbal or tambourine smash at those points?

Yeah I'll probably end up trying to mask it with something like that too. Right now I have a delay on it which is doing a pretty good job. It's an ethereal kind of synthy electronica piece so it doesn't have to sound natural. 

Soundcloud is nuts. I've already had someone favorite the friggin thing, and someone commented "amazing."

I would have totally removed any pops or clicks using either Adobe or RX Advance 3 or something.
