Hi,

Had been almost in hibernation with respect to music creation for a long time due to many reasons and challenges (laziness ?).
So haven't been frequenting the forum as much too.

Pulled and lifted myself to doing something 3 days ago and tried a Cinematic theme type music track for the first time.
Its optimized for earphones/headphones and may not really sound up there on big music systems and monitors for the audio engineering veterans. So any and all comments are welcome

Hi Ramesh, nice to see you back again.

Sounds OK though I think the Bass could be a little further back or tamed a little in the mix, but I am listening on the Adams.

I get the sense of a horror movie which is cool, good stuff generally thanks for sharing.

Hi John, Thanks for listening to the track.

Yeah, I've always had this imbalance with the bass in the mix where some listeners say its too tame or mild and needs to be lifted a bit. I just try to balance it between what I hear on my monitors and on my headphones which are noticeably different. Its time I got a better pair of monitors but that needs to wait for a while.

That was pretty cool...   A very nice orchestral/electronic hybrid.

FWIW, I am listening on headphones, and yes, the bass works.

Hey thanks Steve for listening to the track and for your generous comments. Glad you liked it.

Wasn't thrilled by the intro, mostly because I wasn't liking the springy-sounding synth, but at 1:02, you grabbed me. You built up the rest of the track very nicely. Also, while the mix may not be "perfect" (whatever that is), I think it sounds pretty good and gets your ideas across.

Regards,
Dan

Thanks for listening and your generous comments Dan. Always good to get your views.
Of late I've been focusing a lot on trying variety in my compositions; so much so that the mix part tends to take a backseat  have to balance it there. On the intro, I guess I just wanted the listener to keep guessing
Regards.

I think it unfolds very well -- i like the somewhat ambiguous opening leading to the piano.  The piano level drops a little strangely as the arpeggio begins around 2:08 or so -- not sure if intended or not.

Very dramatic overall.  Achieves the soundtrack ambiance for sure!

Hi cwestmont,
Thanks for listening and your positive comments which I do value from one and all.
The drop in piano level from 2:08 was intentional which slowly rises in level to build up.

Best Regards.
