Edit: I removed the song because I don't like it.

Interesting it has a certain ambience that I could not quite catch with my furry ears.

I replaced the original file with one less woolly. On review I noticed it was pretty cloudy. Now it's less 'not good'.

Cool song with nice guitar playing. The mix sounds pretty good on my Surface Pro 4 speakers. The only thing I would nitpick is that snare is a touch loud for my liking, seems to poke out on the overall drum sound.

My first comment was an attempt at this thing you humans call humour, because when I followed your link there was nothing to see other than the title and no sound to tickle my furry ears.

It is OK again I think it could do with a little variation in there somewhere.

Ok biodiode...yeah I find that a lot...the snare being too loud...but only when people tell me. My monitoring setup/ environment isn't great and I struggle to know what's really going on.

Wookie when you said furry that's what I thought you meant...it was quite furry down there...so to speak...woolly in the bass, which it was. But I cleared things up a tad. Unfortunately it doesn't come with variation I only know a few chords. ;)

I think the mix is really solid.  Bass, guitars and vocals are all sitting nicely together.  I especially like the acoustic guitar in the right channel.  I have an issue with the drum sound, but it's hard to articulate.  It's not that it's too quiet, but it's maybe a bit muffled and could come forward in the mix some.  But then that could make some other instruments need some tweaking.  Maybe some combination of exciter, high end EQing, and compression could help.  I use AD2, so I'm no expert on mixing mic'd drums, but hopefully that can help you some.

Thanks a lot...yes I think the drum sound is off too...it is in fact AD2...but the midi beats I chose didn't marry up with the drum kit I chose...so the drums are playing another kit's midi beats if you know what I mean. Well spotted. Thanks for listening

Correction...the drums are EZD2...AD2 sounds much better. I still messed up the midi/ kit thing. Anyway...
