I seem to be suffering from post going missing syndrome, so once again I feel compelled to add.......

Try waiting till the "draft saved" flag appears at the bottom of the window before clicking "submit" or "change" button. Seems to be working for me anyway.

The coloured bars work for me in tungsten. I can't think of anything worse than lurid, coloured strips ruining the dark interface. So while I hope you get what you want from the bakers, I also hope they make it an option so that it isn't imposed on those of us who don't want it. I kind of feel it is an option at the moment though depending which theme you choose.

I totally agree, I much prefer the 'clean cut' lines of the current tungsten theme. If there's a way to introduce a new theme with the option of coloured strips, then I guess we'd all be catered for.

I believe there is a way to do this while pleasing both; users who don't want the colored strips and the others (People who like visual aid / like myself.) Rather than a colored strip, put a thin colored line around the whole track area.
