I have updated everything......I started a project yesterday.  I changed NO volume on my guitar or Axe Fx but today my guitar is recording almost 3 DB quieter today on the same exact tracks and same patch.  This has happened twice now.  Any specific reason.

It's a tricky question you're offering, obviously something has changed, computers don't lie.
Can you describe your routing set up in more detail ?
eg. What Axe FX ?  . . . Are all tracks assigned to a Master bus ? How are you monitoring, headphones from Axe FX, speakers from Audio interface ?
