Just started using this, like it so far. Curiously, the upper right 4 position
gain knob doesn't seem to turn. Any ideas?

Do you mean in the PC or as a VST?
 
Not sure whic knob you mean - do you mean the meter select knob.
 
If so, it should move through the four positions.  It only effets how/ what the VU meter displays.
 
What are you doing to "turn" it?  Sorry for all the questions.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I can't figure out how to turn the VU meter mode knob either. Probably a noob situation with this particular plugin.
 
Tried left click, right click, combinations with Shift, Alt, Ctrl etc., no dice. There's nothing mentioned in the documentation about it either.

I just tried it in the PC-2A and CA-2A versions and it's working fine. You just click and drag up or down. However it seems that it could use some adjustment because the distance you have to drag to get it to turn seems a little high to me.

Holding SHIFT+Left clicking will do fine increments.
This works with a lot of controls within Sonar. So don't hold Shift while dragging .
Possibly your mouse is dying or set at a low resolution ?

I think you mean SHIFT+drag but that does nothing to the Gain Reduction knob. The movement may feel exaggerated because there are only 4 positions but it requires the same amount of mouse movement as full rotation of Gain and Peak Reduction knobs.
