This is exactly my issue also.  I had to rollback the update.  Couldn't get anything done!  I have contacted support.  I'll let you know what I find out.

Hi all,

I just rolled back to previous version, 2017.04, (didn't realize how easy it was to do), and pointer is back functioning properly, so seems it has something to do with update, so back using 2017.04 for now to complete some stuff, and may reload 2017.05 later to see if issue persists.
Im still using Win7, but I see some with Win10 having these issues also.

Cheers

Check scaling and a different mouse pointer, see what happens.

I tried using none for mouse scheme (had on larger before), also scaling was 125%, changed  to 100%, but issue persists.

Thank you for checking. I'm not having this problem and it seems most others aren't either, so the Bakers just need to figure out what different Windows or program configuration causes this. Hopefully it won't be hard to narrow down.

Rolled back on Win 10 and pointer is fine.

I tried altering scaling but it doesn't make a difference, the mouse pointer is unresponsive most of the time, unless I am very very careful and point to the bottom of what I wish to change. I don't wish to roll back though, I'm going to wait and see if it is addressed at the next update. Thanks for the help

Good Day,

Update, so I tried reinstalling 2017.05, and still have pointer issue. starting at second track and down, if you widen track strips so more icons appear on top line of strip it may be more apparent, (i.e.,  M, S, REC...etc..). If you narrow tracks strips so, M, S, etc.., are on second line then they seem normal, or issue may not be as apparent. (i.e., track number/name are only affected.)
So it seems anything on top line of track strip is affected (from second track and down).

Cheers

More details.

What I was seeing is the the mouse pointer was almost ALWAYS in the resize mode.  Note sure if I saw the other aberrant behavior.    I ended up rolling back and all is good.

I am not doing any font scaling, but my main monitor is manually adjusted so that the display does not "spill" out side of the display area.

On thing to note is that I do have a Wacom drawing tablet and I have not updated any of its drivers since I built the machine a couple of years ago (Windows 10).

Hey
That would make it lot more annoying, LOL, but I still found it annoying enough so I rolled back again, I guess ripple edit and Adaptive Limiter will have to wait for now.

Same issue occuring here.  Win10 pro x64 (Creative update), Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 running a Samsung T240 Rose @ 1920x1200 (16:10).  No scaling enabled.

Also using remote desktop to an Acer 10" tablet running Win10 home x86, and was able to use the multi-touch surface no problem in this fashion but now the entire UI is completely unresponsive to anything except Application Minimize Exit and Maximize/window mode buttons at the top.  Touch behaves perfectly fine in any other application and general windows/remote desktop use.  Sonar is the only thing not responding to touch commands.

I noticed someone else mentioned having a Wacom Tablet.  I have an Intuos 4 but all the drivers and services are disabled.
