Thanks for adding your info in pgw. Graphic card data looks pretty random but I'll leave those conclusions to the guys smarter than I at CW :)
 
Radeon HD5450: Issue present for some, not all
Intel HD4600: Issue present for 2 users (OP and myself)
Intel HD4000: Issue not present for one user
Nvidia GTX 1060: Issue present for one user
 
Maybe anyone else with this issue can just add their graphic card and mouse info to the list...see if any pattern develops.
 
 

I'm guessing this may have something to do with the enhanced touch support/pen support in 2017.05.  I don't seem to have this problem on Windows 7 nor do I have a touch screen (though I do have a Wacom tablet with pen and touch options, I'm not using it with SONAR though it is connected/working).  Do any of you with this problem have a touch screen (even a laptop touch pad)?

Re question about pen support etc, my experience was not using pen or touchpad, just desktop and basic wired MS Mouse...same mouse and drivers that have worked all along ( and work fine in rolled back SONAR version).

that coming from changes to the pen support would make sense ... and on my tablet PC with the small touch display it's fine but not on the regular beefy desktop system

We are still investigating the issue. There's no 100% repeatable case in house yet.

Just updated to 2017.05, I have this issue. Having to roll back.
