Sometimes, when I'm in Piano Roll view, I'd like to just hit Alt-P+V to set all of my note velocities to a common value. Sadly, when the Piano Roll view is up, Alt-P does not access the Process Menu pulldown (from the main menu.) Neither (for that matter) can I access the FILE menu, the EDIT menu, the VIEWS menu... you get the point.. via keyboard shortcut.
 
Please activate / allow keyboard shortcuts while in the Piano Roll view.

Agree that's an annoyance, and not standard for Windows applications.    Broader request might be to eliminate the use of menus in subordinate windows, but I acknowledge it is not likely to happen this way. 
 
Maybe improving the shortcut key implementation so that the halfway sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't is better.
