If you have W7 Pro, MS offers XP mode for free. Just download an install.  As for XP drivers on a new board the ones included in the XP install should work.
 
Somewhere you need a reality check.  In my world I just build a machine to do specific work instead of trying what you are doing. That is my version of insanity.  Keep the current one using legacy stuff.

Yep, I found it, (see post above).  I need to know that the new MB will work.  Can't afford to be a test dummy, LOL, and I just don't have the room for multiple machines, switches and all that.  I just put Win7 on a laptop for my wife, (it came with 10), and I had to do some scrounging to find all the drivers for the installed components.  I know they're trying to get us dinosaurs to move into the future but I'll resist as long as I can. 
 
Reality check?  Ha Ha Ha!  I haven't had one of those in twenty years!    Thanks.
