My current PC in it's present state in dysfunctional. It's works but I can't put it in sleep or hibernate. If it happens I have to wait an hour before it turns on. Bad for workflow. There are other problems also.  over 6 years she served me well!
 
I patted my PC and ordered another much better one

Thanks Bob but my intentions are to just be able to turn it on. The one I have now is a hit and miss situation.
 I decided to keep my eyes closed till it gets here. I don't know the specs yet but from what I remember they're pretty good for what I will use it for! Santa Jim told me so!

I've been paying attention to the comments and learning about a DAW system. I've been working on this for 6 years and the opportunity finally presented itself. Financially it's going to be tough because I still have to move and everything that goes along with that.
 
My goal is intact! To have a work friendly setup to make music. My vehicle of choice is Sonar Platinum and an excellent means of producing it. a Studio Cat DAW
