I'm getting a lot of crashes today in Sonar X2, multiple projects.  Any chance an MS Tuesday update got me?

First principle of software troubleshooting: figure out what just changed.
 
Technically, what you have here is not a crash, but a hang. Hangs most often occur when some piece of software is waiting for some piece of hardware to respond, and no response is forthcoming within some timeout window. Second most likely cause is badly-written software.
 
Not much to go on, but might help trigger a lightbulb. Install any new plugins?
