I've been recording for decades and over the years have migrated from outboard gear to almost entirely in the box.

I'm recording some vocal takes today and am using loop recording with the comping feature.

To me, this is the single most time-saving feature that Sonar has to offer. I love it!

Just wanted to post that!

For me it's Mix Recall. The flexibility it provides and the time it saves over how we used to do things to compare different settings quickly.

For me it is the fact that it is not tape!

Templates make a difference for me.

Using the keyboard shortcuts 'd' and 'D'.
I know it's a little thing, but given I only have one 27" with many tracks, the toggle combined with the new PRV essentially lets me switch between the three things I care about: PRV, Track view and the console.
