I have a midi file which was generated from a Roland TD-30 Which I want to use to play AD2, and I can map the AD2 application to the TD-30 ok, but when I play the file sometime ( yes sometimes) the kick drum isn't playing, yet looking at the Event Data - All the Kick drum data is all the same, (Intensity/Note length etc ...). 
 
I'll put in on a loop - and sometimes it plays fine and sometimes it misses notes ! 
 
Any clues anyone?

Usually dropped MIDI notes is an indication of too small a "Prepare MIDI using nnn Millisecond Buffer" setting in Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording. IF using the default value of 250, try 500 or 750.
