Your display settings shows two monitors.  Are the two very different dpi?  I've set my laptop to the same resolution as your primary and it opens the template just fine as well as the virtual piano.  Put another way, if in the display settings you temporarily disable the 2nd display (don't extend) does the issue still occur?

Hi Keith,

You are on to something. So my primary display is an HD TV. When I only went to that one as a single display, It displayed the same issue. When I went to my other 27 inch display. It did not. I was able to re-extend to my TV monitor and it worked until I restarted Platinum.  I tried going down to a lower resolution (1600 by 900) with the same result. So It is pointing to my TV/Monitor right now.  Any suggestions?? and thanks for responding on a Sunday that is great!!

Just an idea: I noticed on your AMD Radeon Settings panel that you have a 5% HDMI scaling set. There shouldn’t really be any need for that on a modern display panel. What happens if you set that slider to 0%? Does the problem still remain?

Ok... Keith thanks..

Not sure what is happening between my TV monitor and Sonar but by making my 2nd display the primary appears to have "fixed" the issue. I am happy about that but it does not give me any understanding on what changed between May and June to make it manifest itself in that I can be proactive in the future. ah well... I will get back to making music for now.

Thanks everyone

Hi Canopus,

In troubleshooting, it did not. Switching the displays did... So as long as the TV/monitor is not the primary, it Platinum appears fine.

Thanks
