Good Day

My previous post, SONAR 2017.05 update mouse pointer issue.
http://forum.cakewalk.com/SONAR-201705-update-mouse-pointer-issue-m3614006.aspx

So, mouse alignment issue seems resolved, however now in track view cant select/highlight an individual track, double clicking on track number selects/highlights all tracks, double clicking again deselects all tracks. Have to go to console view number to select/highlight an individual track.
Oh well back to 2017.04, be nice to try out some of the newer features one of these days.

Cheers

Hi , what happens when you single click the track number ?
For me it always have selected the track I want to select and if I want to
select all tracks I double click .

Why not just add this to the other 2 "mouse pointer threads".
A little pointless starting a new thread. now there are 3 threads on the same issue ?

Because this is 2017.06 issue not 2017.05, and its a different issue altogether

I mean no disrespect.
Its just difficult trying to reproduce a problem when I cant see the previous history.
So having to read 3 different threads to get an idea of what's going on proves very difficult.
I would like to try and reproduce, try to help but when posts are in three different threads its tough. you know what I mean ?
Its more productive when the same issue is all in the same place.

So my apology's, I just thought these were all mouse pointer issues.
Which if are caused all by the same problem with Windows or even Sonar, the bakers are probably going to thinking the same as I. Confused.

Sure sounded like it,
Yea, this issue wasn't in 2017.05, the mouse alignment was just below track number but responded to single click there, 2017.06 my mouse is aligned but doesn't respond to single click, only a double click in track number. At least that's the problem Im having, just reporting it as new issue.
I find it confusing as well.

John I don't think Chuck meant any disrespect to you. His point is a good one though I get your point too.

Thanks for seeing my point of view, perhaps he doesn't mean to sound subtly belittling, I can be pretty sarcastic myself at times, LOL. (that was meant to be funny). Anyway, I had edited my original thread title as solved, (I thought) as alignment seemed solved but then found this issue and changed back, i.e., removed solved, as I wasn't sure it was alignment or what, but had started new thread for new update issue, perhaps I should have left old one solved (for me) albeit not 100% sure now it is. In any case I didn't have to time investigate all possible scenarios, just I couldn't work productively with the new issue, and had to roll back to work on some stuff for now.

No worries Chuck
