On the software Sonar Resouces  & Utilities just added a new section for resources... fro drum maps..

DRUM MAPS  Complete Folder

And added my first attempt on original drum map for Nine Volt Audio's Taiko 2 Library - great to use in step sequencer

Taiko 2 - (Kontakt Library) by Nine Volt Audio  based on the 4 ensemble patches (I 'named' the descriptions to match the sounds of the Close ensemble).

Anyhow..... its my aim to create a few more soon and if people are willing to contribute previously created drum maps that would a great resource for all Sonar users... to speed up workflow / save time by creating and sharing previous efforts...   practical options also would be using it to control keyswitches for sample libraries etc!

If you wish to share ... please send a link or email me on ... elffin.txu@googlemail.com

Great idea. I'll see if I can locate the AD2 drum map, that should have been included with Sonar.

This is a great initiative!
Don't have any to share, but look forward to seeing this done.
All the best.

The AD2 drum map is in the Cakewalk blog http://blog.cakewalk.com/drum-maps-ad2-in-sonar/ it includes installation instructions for the map and templates. Consider adding a pointer to the blog instead of just a download link.

Cakewalk should really just include the AD2 drum map, as AD2 is part of Sonar.
Thanks for the link!

Not to be overly pedantic but AD2 is not part of SONAR. It is it's own product that happens to be offered with SONAR Platinum.

It can be run in any other DAW because you get the installer from XLN Audio, not Cakewalk.

To my way of thinking, a 3rd party product that is "part of SONAR" is where you get the product installer from Cakewalk and once installed it cannot be used in any other DAW. IIRC Breverb was (and may still be) that way.
