I'm using SONAR Platinum v23.5.0 BUILD 32 [2017.05] - x64.
I'm trying to make an audio clip follow the project's tempo at 106 BPM. The clip is almost 5 minutes and wasn't recorded to a click, so the tempo ranges from 105 to 109.
AudioSnap is enabled and I clicked the Edit Clip Map. I edit the transient markers and drag the beats to the correct transient markers, so they turn red. I can't adjust more than a minutes worth or else SONAR crashes. I save after adjusting each measure and then close/re-open SONAR after every song section to prevent SONAR from crashing. This is the only thing that causes my SONAR to crash because it's otherwise stable.
Whenever I re-open the project, the Clip's Tempo Map isn't correct and doesn't remember where I left off or what transients I promoted and it's almost like it's half reset. If I click on Clip Follows Project (Beat), the clip is not following the project's tempo and I can clearly see the transients don't line up with the project's measures. I have attempted to edit the Clip's Tempo Map multiple times and it just won't sync up or save correctly.
Also, at the end of the clip, the instruments hit the last note and fade out for almost 6 seconds but the AudioSnap stretches the audio out, so it sounds real slow. Is there a way to make AudioSnap ignore the fade out and not attempt to adjust the tempo?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
