John
I've been playing with it and I'm finding nothing wrong with it. I did a little remixing of a couple of songs I've been working on and it felt the way it did so many years ago. It was reminding me why I prefer Sonar. No hassle. No fuss. I just got on with it. The sound was superb. I added some FX here and there for control. I use the PC more and more. It is so darn handy. A little EQ here and little Concrete Limiter there and some buss PC compression on a horns buss. It all came together quick and better than ever. I know that many DAWs can do the same things but I don't think any other DAW can do it as quick.

Any thoughts on this release are welcomed.

For those having some issues with pointers or other glitches try this version.

Running well here.

None of this month's issues are pertinent to me/my needs, but it is running well here too.

I totally agree with you. I have learned/used otger DAW softwares as well as Sonar over the years and nothing lets me work as quickly yielding superb audio results.

I was editing a live session and he singer was stunned at how quickly i cleaned up 24 songs of 20 tracks each within a single Sonar project.... and i look forward to the future streamlining that I imagine forthcoming!

Good to know John and Keni. Keen to give it a try after this run of shows as I had a few teething problems with the last couple of releases.

As they say in our Parliament, I would like to associate myself with the comments of the previous speakers.

I'd also like to add, since building a new custom Intel I7
(Asrock z97 1150 - Intel I7 4790k - 16GB corsair DDR3 1600 - PNY SSD 220GB). Sonar has run much faster.
I hate to use the system related excuse to some users problems but it can really make a difference.
even though some people do have legitimate issues within Sonar (Sometimes it can be soundcard, CPU, MOBO or even Sonar related). Having a good running system helps a lot with problem issues, crashes, exc.

I used AMD for almost 3 years in total and had little complaints except the speed at which Sonar would load projects, VST-I instruments/Synths, exc. But building this Intel I7 was the best thing I've ever done.
I was an AMD Fanboy. I was always up for a debate in comparison between Intel and AMD but one must admit when they are wrong and I was. Intel seems to just be a bit faster than my old beloved AMD system and it was exactly what the doctor ordered.

I've had little to no problems with the past year or so getting Sonar's monthly updates. So its no surprise this months is running very well. Though I used Sonar for over 4 hours on Sunday, its only fair to be noted, there are some features I did not use.
