Months ago, I had completely uninstalled EZDrummer and then reinstalled only EZDrummer 1 because EZDrummer 2 screwed up all my projects. I understood from posts here and announcements on the Toontrack site that the problems were resolved.
I just installed the latest version of EZD2 and applied the most recent updates. When I opened an existing project, inputs and outputs for all the tracks—not just drums—were all screwed up. I had to re-establish all the Ins and Outs and every track for both MIDI and audio, which meant splitting all the simple instrument tracks.
Luckily, I created a restore point on my PC, so EZD2 is about to go away forever (hopefully). I will use EZD1 when I need it but I will not continue with Toontrack products and I will never upgrade again. If I need more drums, I will buy another product.
By the way, my project may be corrupted even if I restore my PC—and I hope the restore works.
This is quite unbelievable.
