  • EZDrummer 2 Still Won't Work with Sonar - Resolved? (p.4)

If you have done this update then you have to look to see if you have two versions of EZdrummer installed.  You might have installed it once in the Cakewalk VST plugins folder and then later after doing deletions or restores you might have installed it in the C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins directory.  If Sonar is pointed at the wrong version, then you have a problem.  But it's an easy one to fix.  Change the name of the oldest version to ezdrummer.bak and see if EZdrummer 2 loads the correct version.  If it doesn't then go into the Plugin Manager and browse to the newest version and see if it loads the newest version with the SONAR Options.

OK, I installed the EZD2 upgrade for the third time and this time I have Sonar options and EZD does not seem to be messing up my Ins/Outs.

Each time before  I had installed the EZD 2.0.2 package followed by the update.  I don't know what is different this time, but things seem to be OK.

Thanks.

Great news.  I guess you got it working while I was typing my latest reply.   Now, enjoy the Tap 2 Find feature.  Don't forget to go into the Menu> Settings> MIDI Libraries and add any third party groove collections to your Search.
