I love this song.  It does have a wee bit of a Cars New Wavy sound (that's cool).  And yes bapu did a great job on bass but the rest of the lads did a knock-out job as well.

I'm on my third listen.  Great writing, super instrumental performances, dynamite vocals and harmonies, and the mix is pro sounding and radio-ready!  Love that bass tone and playing, Bapsi!
 
I agree with Bill and Freddy about the Cars reference, I remember having to manually dial in that synth sound on my old dual-monophonic Yamaha CS15 for 3 or 4 Cars songs that my old band did from the first two albums when they first came out.  We did "Just What I Needed", "Let the Good Times Roll", "Let's Go" and "Living in Stereo".  Good times!

Definitely has that new wave 80s sound. Love that gritty bass growl you got going on there Bapu. The guitar tone was spot on too. And Daryl's Lennon-like voice was perfect for this! The mix sounded great to me as well. Nothing to crit here... Great job!

Started out loving this but towards the end got a little, lets say fatigued, I kinda agree with David (eph221) here, but none the less a great song.
