Thank you for the link. I know I am old and stupid, but it seems unnecessarily difficult to find cakewalk and especially the forums on bandlab. If you type bandlab.com in your browser address bar you get to a page https://www.bandlab.com/feed where you can log on to your bandlab account, but I do not see any link from that page to anything having to do with cakewalk. If it is there, it is remarkably easy to miss. If you use the search box on that page you do not get anything that will link you to cakewalk as a product, much less the forum. If you click the Explore Bandlab button you get a page https://www.bandlab.com/explore/home that has a tiny list at the bottom which includes a download apps hyperlink, but the list of apps does not include cakewalk.

If you type cakewalk.com you get a page with two learn more buttons both of which take you to a page https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk  that provides a description of cakewalk and a download link. It also includes a list of hyperlinks at the very bottom under the heading community, but there is no link to the forums there or anywhere else that I can find on that page. While anyone who has been regularly following these forums will no doubt have learned how to get to the new forum, it does not seem that it will be obvious to any new user.  It is certainly not obvious except to the cognoscenti that you should be looking for a cakewalk forum under "discuss."

I found it by using the links in the sticky sec. above. I added the link in my post to facilitate the move.

I'll probably die with the closing of this forum.  I really don't use Sonar anymore, but I remain here for the Deals and Hardware threads, both of which have absolutely nothing to do with Sonar/Bandlab and therefore will most likely never exist in the new forum.

PS: The Deals thread here is quite possible the best of the frickin' Internet. May it rest in peace when the day comes.

EDIT: Uh oh, I guess I should eat my words!  The Deals thread does look like it exists...by popular demand no less!  Hmm...decisions decisions...

I can't seem to get in via IE11 (at work) when trying to "Connect with BandLab". I'm already signed on at the Bandlab site and using the same sign on info, but it won't go past this:

Cakewalk will receive:
  • Your profile
  • Your email address

Continue

At home, I click on continue and it takes me to the 'agreement/accept' page at the new forum, but not at work.

Any thoughts on how to get in?

  1. Add cakewalk.com to Compatibility View settings (under the Tools menu/gear icon)
  2. Use a different browser, if possible

Thanks Tele, but adding that to Compatibility View settings didn't work. Still keeps me in the Sign In page (Connect with BandLab). Unfortunately, I can't use another browser as IT won't allow it.

It's strange as I can get into a lot of other forums online without any issues.

Have you tried deleting your temporary internet files?

IE 11 has never allowed access on my personal pc either, I have to use Chrome. It would be nice to overcome this obstacle.
