With full respect to John - running apps as admin except under special circumstance (for example installations or troubleshooting) is not considered a good practice.
Except for installing or updating you should never have to run any non-system program on Windows 7 or 10 as admin. Any program or plugin that requires Admin rights to run is badly written or obsolete and should be avoided.
I never run Sonar or CbB as admin and never have issues*.
*related to or because of that... everyone has issues now & then (ie glitches or pilot error). Note that you can avoid a lot of hassles by running & authorizing new plugins in a VST minihost such as SaviHost
http://www.hermannseib.com/english/savihost.htm or Image Line's MiniHost
http://www.image-line.com/documents/news.php?tag=minihost+modular before running Cakewalk's VST scanner.
